REPURPOSE BIOWASTE
During the production of sugar, sugarcane is commonly burned after the juices are extracted to make processed sugar. Pract-Eco Solutions has set out to offer sugarcane farmers an alternative to burning the remaining biowaste --- repurposing it into straws! Our company has made it our goal to offer products that take advantage of the unique qualities of sugarcane, and in the process help reduce the burning of biowaste.
STOP THE BURN!
Within 2020 alone, the United States produced over 35 million tons of sugarcane. As part of the production process, farmers traditionally burn sugarcane during and after harvest. Towns within the United States commonly complain of black "snow". The “snow” is a sooty byproduct of the agricultural practice of burning the sugarcane fields.
